Hello all,

I just went veteren and joined Valor. I'm coming from SVER and hopefully can bring a little bit of that experience to the table.

I have a mic and use it; interested clans should have a mic requirement.

I can command, set FRAGOs, and use command abilities effectively. (If you don't know what that means, I'm not interested. Learn to play the game.)

Clans w/ players in the US are preferred, just so that we're online at the same time.

Above all: Having fun is a priority. We should play to win, but it is just a game.

This announcement is to inform you that Shadow Company [SC] is currently recruiting for the PS3 Platform, in our Massive Action Gaming (MAG) Division.  We are accepting both 1st Battalion (North America) and 2nd Battalion (Europe) applications. We also support all three factions!

Requirements: You must have a mic and be able to attend practices on a regular basis. There is no skill level or rank needed, any applicants that meet the above requirements will be considered.

What is Shadow Company: Shadow Company was established in October 2008 and is a new, yet experienced PS3 gaming community focused on providing a home for like minded gamers. Our mission is to make sure everyone who joins has a safe, mature environment to come together and make their online interactive gaming experience more enjoyable. 

Structure:  Shadow Company is based on a military structure, as such we provide Squad types for every level of gameplay.


(ST) Structured Squads: For the typical competitor, that wants to take their gaming abilities to the next level, but can only play a few times per week.

(CS) Competative Squads:  For those seeking the ultimate gaming challenge.  These are the squads that compete regularly in head-to-head clan battles, and are very active on Gamebattles.com and other PS3 ladders.

ugh, forums. Why so many forums?

AMW, I really like the 1 week trial bit. It'll be good to play with a group with some standards and allow players to see if they like the group too

SC, that's a damn intimidating site... organization is good, but you guys might be taking yourselves a little too seriously for me. Then again, maybe that's what I need take my game to the next level.

The one thing I want to warn to both: I just want to play with a good group. I DO NOT want to monitor forums or participate in interclan arguements/politics. That's just ridiculous. I realize that some of that might be required for a solid clan of hard core gamers, but I have girlfriends that need attention too. (Yes that is plural, yes thay know about each other, no I'm not kidding.)

I -think- I replied to you earlier on PSN but can't remember as I've been getting so many lately, and didn't really want to flood you with messages so I'll do it here.

We fit all of the above bolded requirements ^, basically just a group of people who got sick and tired running with random no-mic players who didn't have a clue what to do and are too bull-headed to listen to any advice. We're pretty pro-casual and steer clear from all of the stupid "omg my cl4n iz s0 m0re l33t than j00" crap that seems to come with every other clans these days.

I'm the clan leader only in name, I don't decide what we do when everyone's on and it's usually the majority vote that gets to decide, I won't be asking you to call me Mein Fuhrer anytime soon. So if you can cope with -

- Jons cat poems

- Slaps talks about Yoko Ono

- Teamkilling Shimone.

- My horrible driving (Yeah I got two transports out last night, And **** you Stevens you parked it in the wrong cargo-hold so it counts as mine)

You'll fit in well. If you're on in about three hours (10:30PM for me) I can give you a trial game.

Hey Mindkeep, I don't know how these other clans operate, but it sounds to me like you are looking for a laid back group of guys who have fun and get the job done. I'm the leader of DDS (durkadeathsquad) and we usually play around 11 PM Eastern Time, nearly every single night. We don't have a forum you have to keep up with, no registration or anything, just a casual group of guys who have some fun.
